Re: ircDDB and STARnet
Morning Artem, Thanks a lot, let me ask the guys in Florence what they think about this extra link. Also, note that DDCS008 is hosted by someone of the ircDDB team, if the users like it I think it will be fair to ask the reflector's administrator if they are keen to have this in place - you know how...

Re: ircDDB and STARnet
Hi Artem, The BorderGate platform is truly impressive. It looks as if you managed in to overcome all the divisions of D-STAR in one go. Would something like BorderGate be able to bridge ircDDB and QuadNet if implemented somewhere, without creating problems within those networks (or between them)? I ...

Re: ircDDB and STARnet
Hi Artem, с новым годом first of all. Sorry I wasn't aware of the way RK3FWD functions within your network structure, I will try this functionality later today or within the next few days. Does it work just with any gateway? Say, if you connect a gateway to a reflector (take MB6IBK C as an example),...

ircDDB and STARnet
Dear All, Happy New Year first of all. You may have noticed from time to time MB6IBK connected to XRF250 B. I am currently running some network bridging experimentation with some fellow amateurs worldwide, the interests spans from Canada and Italy, to the UK the Netherlands and Greece. The purpose o...

Re: Gateway Details
This data is displayed automatically from our ircDDB. In this case, your gateway (we call it Node) should be be registered in it. ircDDBGateway reports all the necessary data to the network core of D-STAR Russia & CIS. You can register your gateway (login and password) in our Self-Care. In orde...

Re: D-STAR Gateway in Russia
Hi, Raul! You have a very interesting idea. Russian Regulations is allowed to work using callsign of CEPT countries within 90 days. It require the use of amateur radio callsign prefix when working out of the country. But as we know, D-STAR is unable to use the prefix. As I see it, there is nothing ...

Re: International QSO at XRF250B
Thanks! I do listen in the reflector from time to time, but unfortunately my Russian is rather poor. I am trying to learn it in my own time and the reflector is great help. I was in Moscow a few days ago, I tried a few of the local gateways but probably I was too far from them to make contact. Only ...

Gateway Details
Me again...
I would like to add my gateway's frequency and specifications to the Nodes Status page (Dashboard), I tried through the Self-Care section but haven't managed to find the place where my gateway can be edited.
Can anyone tell me where I can add these details?
Thanks

D-STAR Gateway in Russia
Dear All, An opportunity to install a D-STAR gateway/transponder in Russia may materialise (Oryol Oblast). I would use it when I travel to Russia and would be keen to make it available for public use. The required output would be no more than 15-20W max, on an omnidirectional vertically polarised an...
